“Sometimes, a few things just need to come together. A fabulous wedding. An equally fabulous wedding gift entitled “Only protected by the kindness of your nature” by Caroline de Bruijn. Her work is diverse in nature, but I particularly like her organic pieces covered in rope. Her sculptures are always in motion and continue to tickle the imagination, even to the point of evoking emotion. Our house has many natural elements and Caroline's work fits in perfectly, almost complementing it. We have more work hanging on the walls, but I find that I still look more often and prefer to look at the three-dimensional sculpture than at our “flatter” art. It simply appeals to me more at home. Hats off to Caroline, we hope to acquire more of your work in the future!"
